They are accused of spreading derogatory information about Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, denigrating Republican candidates Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio -- and supporting Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders and then-Republican candidate Donald Trump.
Press conference just ended, but he claimed no wrong-doing on the part of anyone in the Trump campaign, and that they were all acting under the impression that these Russian actors were legitimate Americans.
As I've been accurately stating for over a year now, the Russians attempted to influence the election by sowing social discord in America. They supported whomever they needed to forward that goal, including Black Lives Matter.

After the election the defendants staged rallies to support the President-elect while simultaneously organizing events to oppose him both in NYC on the same day.
"Now there is no allegation in this indictment that any American was a knowing participant in this illegal activity. There is no allegation in the indictment that the charged altered the outcome of the 2016 election"
Again, this is EXACTLY what I have been claiming happened.
