Ron Hosko, former assistant director of the Criminal Investigative Division at FBI Headquarters explains the secrecy around a FISA warrant :
“FISA collection, FISA investigate activity is a secret process,” said Hosko.
“We’re talking about a secret information, so any of this that touches secret is secret and becomes secret.
It’s not going to get released for the public to examine. It’s just not going to happen that way.
It’s not going to happen that way on this case. We’re not going to open up all the FBI secret investigations for public examinations to see if they’re done the right thing.”
“What went before the FISA judge?” asked Hosko. “I think we’re going to hear, perhaps, characterizations of it. But we’re never going to get to that core information because this is a secret process with secret information in it.”
Do you get the drift that there's something secret involved? And that the public will never know if the FBI has done the right thing or not.
And it's this secrecy which is the MSM's trump card.
It doesn't really matter who signed it for the FBI.
It doesn't really matter who signed it for the DOJ.
It doesn't really matter who the FISA Court judge was.
It doesn't really matter who produced the dossier.
It doesn't really matter who paid for the dossier.
What really matters is the fact that an approval of a FISA warrant alone implies wrongdoing.
Left to their own devices the MSM might be held to account to actually prove any wrong doing if they just go about business as usual and manipulate, add to, edit and falsify whatever they want, based on some hearsay.
But, slap a FISA label on it and the whole thing is legitimized. Now they can just manufacture a narrative however they want, knowing that the sheeple will now believe it.
And being SO secret, how would the average Joe ever find out the truth?
Now that the cat is out of the bag, where will all this end?
