Hardly trolling, hardly abusive, hardly vile.
The second warning you linked to I stand by. It wasn't trolling -- it was serious. The attitudes and ideologies of a lot of posters here have directly led to the conditions allowing for the rise of ISIS.
Here is my emailed response to Loki when that specific thread was addressed:
I actually wasn't trying to be that provocative with the title. If you read what was contained in the post you'll note I was referencing a mindset that pressured the administration in making policy decisions to appease the general public. That was the point of my title; that positions dictated by narrative have real-world consequences, one of which was the conditions allowing for the rise of ISI/ISIS. Since members on the forum so strongly argued for the immediate removal of American forces from Iraq, and NATO forces from Afghanistan, I was trying to highlight how this posturing contributed to the issue, and the very real scenario that these individuals participated in a larger movement allowing ISIS to gain ground.
If my title is provocative, it's only meant to force reflection and generate thought outside of knee-jerk positions. I think you could have asked me to elaborate on that position rather than issuing a warning. It's a genuine position I'm sure 50% of the contributors to the forum agree with.
The end result of this individual posturing produced results that allowed ISIS to germinate. Thus, members of the forum passively partcipated in the creation of ISIS.
Here is the content of the post -- again. it wan't trolling:
The Surge was working. AQI was in their death throws but the American left couldn't handle a success story in Iraq. Putting narrative ahead of reality and an understanding of the actual situation, they roleplayed being in a Forest Gump movie, pretending they're pillars of anti-war activism. They loved the presentation of themselves they were projecting, so instead of dealing with the situation as it existed, they pressured the administration to pull out of Iraq through virtue-signaling in manufactured protests and copy-and-pasted social media pressure. Obama and his administration, being weak and finding that same image appealing, pulled out hoping to dear god that escalated drone strikes would be enough to keep AQI on its heels.
It wasn't. AQI splintered and warped into a few competing Jihadi groups, one of which was ISI. They took on the ill-prepared, forgotten Iraqi army, defeated them, and took their American supplies. This gave them propagandistic victories which continued to swell their ranks and online "capital" in radicalized spheres of the internet. When Clinton as Secretary of State further destabilized the Middle East (for which Huma Abedin gave her full credit) by pushing for the "Arab Spring", the doors were open for ISI expansion out of Iraq and its blossoming into ISIS/L.
AQI was defeated. Iraq was as stable as it had been in 20 years. Roleplaying and virtue-signaling on the left (seen everywhere including these forums) bent Obama's very flexible finger to complete the pull-out and ensure a power vacuum that we were all warning against, allowing for the rise of ISI and ISIL/S.
This is what happens when you put narrative ahead of reality, and is the DEFINING feature of so many here and on the left.
The first example you linked to, yeah, probably shouldn't have been posted and is a fair example of poor behavior. That is legitimately the only example I can think of that would be considered trolling.
As far as me being a webmaster here, no, I'm not. I'm not officially connected to Graham, any of the moderators, or this site in any fashion whatsoever, and my suspension was not "suddenly reduced". It was reduced in half within the first week of it being issued. As far as Lee's claim of being stalked goes, I actually have no idea what he's talking about, at all.
The image was relevant. The mods agreed. End of story.
