So you waited for our disagreement to burn out so you can reignite it?

Only because they have chosen not to question or address the issue of what motivated you to include the graphic image.
We will take a dim view if people are being gratuitous about grim and grisly images. These images contain the remnants of human lives that have come to an unnatural and untimely end at the violent hands of fellow humans. They are people's sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, friends and lovers. They are not for the shock entertainment of others nor should be posted out of morbid fascination. If anyone wished to satisfy their own morbid curiosity of the atrocities that can bestowed upon the human body then websites do exist where they can do so (Rotten dot com for example).
So no, gratuitous posting of ANY graphic images will not be deemed acceptible, and porn will most certainly not be next.

And yet he provides the definition and application of the term "soapboxing" (as Dane requested) using you as the example and again warns you a month ago [grahamhancock.com] not to continue your past behavior.
Slipping my mod hat on here.
There's a reason why you are given very little room to discuss issues related to Islam in these boards anymore, Pete.
Put simply, your POV creates a buttload of trouble and unrest, that quite frankly, we don't need.
As I have said repeatedly here over the past couple of weeks, the community comes first.
Your opinions are waaaaay down the list, I'm afraid.
Now - you are coming back onto the boards, after a fairly hefty suspension. Please be reasonable, and don't use tragedies as an opportunity to soapbox.
If you want to discuss your particular take on Islam, you have the whole wide internet to do it in.
But you won't be doing it here. End of discussion.

What do you mean, keep in mind when I posted it? I'm not understanding that suggestion.
What was it that lead you to conclude that people were a) ignoring the attack and b) that the reason they were indifferent was because of the limited body count?
a. Is self-evident.
b. It was my conclusion based on years of precedence, discussion, and my understanding of various personalities involved. The indifference, I believe, doesn't only come from the body count, as you call it, but the NORMALCY of the attacks. It's NOT NORMAL. That was my point, and to highlight the destruction of real innocent human life because they don't subscribe to the correct belief system.
Could I be wrong? Yes, but I don't think I was/am.
The difference is I REFUSE to accept this as the new normal.
You should stop lying and own what you did and why you did it. Instead you wish to argue that we are so jaded that it was necessary that you shock us with a graphic image of the human carnage involved. To accomplish what if not provoke others into responding to your issue.

Didn't need to as history establishes precedents.

Here's what the problem actually is:
You (or at least your online persona), are becoming noticeably fixated on this issue. You would like the boards to reflect this more, but because every second post here doesn't involve this fixation, you believe members don't care about it, or (my personal favourite because it generates the most chuckles from me), that discussing it is in some way taboo.
The facts and post history here do not support this.
What you have actually been engaging in of late bears some resemblance to the historical narrative over on GT&P, which read something like this:
'Sheeple! Why, oh why, oh why can you not remove the scales from your eyes?!!!'
The difference being, that instead of referring to shape-shifting reptilians or black helicopters or FEMA camps, you're concentrating on Islamist fanatics.
Something for you to mull over there, perhaps.
The simple truth of the matter is that members here do not need Pete Vanderzwet to inform them of the ongoing Islamist horror in the world, because the world media is already doing a bang-up job in reporting every minute detail of every single attack.
The attack in France today is evidence of this. Terrestrial and satellite channels are beaming all the gory details into millions of TVs even as I type.
Back to the matter at hand. You're very much entitled to your fixations/obsessions. We all are. And they are none of my business.
But how you behave on this site is very much my business.
Please bear that in mind.

You post with the clear intent of provoking others and creating controversy and division so stop playing the victim and own the repercussions of your actions and interactions Pete.
It's what adults do.
