Last night, 9/12/2019 there was a tv show, Unknown Expedition, on cable. The host was with a group of researchers and archaeologist that were excavating the ancient city you are asking about. Perhaps you can find this group and join them. Also the host was on a quest to locate Atilla the Huns grave. It was interesting. Good Luck.
