For the discussion of general and orthodox history from the advent of writing up to mid 20th Century, i.e. 3,200BC up to World War II.
The 8th Duke of Rutland is the subject of a book titled, 'The Secret Rooms' by Catherine Bailey. My reader is reading it to me and we are just over half-way through. It is turning out to be very interesting, although, as the writer is a journalist, there are parts where the writing doesn't flow (but who am I to talke, I couldn't do it!!) , but the basic facts are intriguing. Does anyone elseknow his story, I wonder? If you do, please don't tell me the ending :) but I would be interested to hear if you do know it, and what your opinion of it is.
