Read the Anacalypsis... I always thought that pharaoh was rather iranian sounding. I am pondering the Aristotleian account of out of India theory. My thinking-considering abrahamic tradition and accounts-is that they might have been murex dyers/traders displaced by natural disasters, the drying of Saraswati. The first mention is of Apiru or SagAz, "smashers of sinews and brains" which would describe well the activity involved in producing murex dye. I think it was large part of their culture. Many before us realised the similarities of Abraham and Brahman, India used to be called Bharata, the hebrew people were looking for "brt" with "god", and presented their offerings, sheep/wool and IMO murex dye.
