Add to those "decipherments" of the Phaistos Disk my interpretation as an ancient gameboard, similar to the ancient Egyptian game of Senet and to the even older Snake Game that enabled pharaoh Unas to ascend to heaven, at least according to the Pyrmaid Texts inscribed in his pyramid. The parallels with these games allow a reconstruction of the one on the Disk, and it turns out that this one was much more richly illustrated than its models. It also contains much astronomical information, because like other ancient gameboards its original function was to keep track of the cycles in the sky.
