Really enjoyed your article and would like to interject some thoughts.

I come from a Masonic Family. Father 32rd/Shriner, Mother Eastern Star, sisters Jobies and I achieved the highest level of Demolay. Most of the things I was exposed to were steeped in mysticism and traditon. History of Demolay, symboilism of stations etc. Most was way over my head but was meant to teach me precepts such as loyality, fidelity respect etc. However I always felt there was a deeper meaning for some, of whom I was not among the chosen. I am not criticizing this it was just the way it was.

Over the years my interest has peaked and has led to me to the works of of such luminaries as Roger Bacon and Thomas Paine. All of this has lead me to the following.

a. There is rooted in freemasonry some hidden truth which would have profund effect if known to the unprepared

b. The best way to hide anything is to hide it in plain sight

c. Most people associated with free masonary have no idea what it's roots are but associate it with it because of the good service work it does.

d. There are those who are aware of the roots and they have other than noble agendas in their hearts.

e. This is not only true of freemasonry but aslo appies to other organiztions such as the Catholic Church, which for some reasons which I have never completely understood is in a "death match" with the craft.

f. Some of this is rooted in the Roman Empire which in my opinion exists today.

g. Ninety percent of religion is a fraud meant to control rather than to comfort. This is not meant to criticize faith which all humans need but rather religion.

I think you and others are on the right trail and hope that collectively we can root out the truth. As a closing comment I strongly recommend anyone who seeks the truth to read Age of Reason by Thomas Paine. It was condemened by all religions as heretical and he was called an athiest. Nothing could be further from the truth. His whole arguement is the quickest way to find the truth and in the end the divine is to apply reason to the arguement. The concept is profund and I honestly feel that this and some of his other works have had a greater affect on my life that any other work by any other author.
