If you're talking about this...
...that's actually not the published "volume" by Bulow-Jacobsen, it a 3-page review article about it! The volume itself is listed at US$73.

There are a few of us here who are looking at this from the engineering (rather than strictly Humanities) perspective, and we have observed several strong contradictions in the "accepted view" which is why I asked for the evidence that makes that view "indisputable".
