Again, I'm not sure what "claims" you think I'm making, but by all means disagree and ignore them all. I have no interest in convincing you of anything other than what you believe. But that doesn't lessen the fact that neither you, loveritas, Thanos or anyone else has validated the claim that the Romans quarried those stones circa 1st c. AD. And so far, as I read these documents written by the luminary investigators, it's not at all clear that the evidence supports only your "accepted view" vs. others, such as what's being revealed at Baalbek.
Try as hard as you want to deflect this discussion, but I will simply bring it back to this simple focus to seek answers about what really happened back then. I'm not like others here who apparently feel so passionately compelled to brow beat the rest of us into believing their ideology.
