These are interesting articles. I decided to investigate whether there was an alignment to my hypothesis on the Westcar Papyrus around 2638 BC ± 10 years and found there was a good match on October 28 2638 BC:
Looking South - in this image, In the centre, we are seeing Argo which Plutarch tells us is in the space where the Egyptians saw the boat of Osiris (which I link to the Westcar tale of Sneferu’s rowing trip). Immediately above Argo is Hydra (the snake), in which space, the Egyptians saw a large Crocodile according to Lull and Belmonte. Above this Crocodile is Leo who is the Lion in the story of Djedi the Magician. In the space where Leo Minor is, Lull & Belmonte tell us the Egyptians saw a smaller crocodile. The story of Ubaoner tells of the lectornpriest who fashions a small wax crocodile which turns into a larger full size crocodile. To the left of Argo is the Southern Cross (Twins and Two Ladies) which I have identified to the rowers in Sneferus rowing trip. To the right of Argo is Taurus, the bull that is decapitated in the story of Djedi.
Looking North - Spica which is associated with the Beautiful Child by Lull & Belmonte perhaps represents the children of Ruddjedet to be born, Meskhetyu or the Bulls Foreleg appears above Thuban. Bootes appears in the east which is where Lull and Belmonte see Reret/Isis-Djamet the hippopotamus. The fish pendant in Sneferus rowing trip is reminiscent of the description that Roca and Mellado say is a reference to Thoeris the female hippopotamus also linked to Reret.
The planets rising near the sun and under spica provide a good reference to the possible children of Ruddjedet. Perhaps making this date an even better candidate than the one I had previously identified.
