In order for it to be "eerily like Khnum" you need TWO separate glyphs, not a single quadruped glyph which "might have been erased."
I suggest you go remind yourself of how the word "Khnum" was written because your post suggests you don't actually know if you think it is "eerily like Khnum".
The relative sizing and spacing of the glyphs in the cartouche suggests strongly that there is only one glyph - whatever you might interpret it to have been.
I prefer not to "keep in mind" outlandish speculation which is not supported by the physical evidence, thanks.
