I was asking about how one would read "Kh" instead of "Ra" on the Abydos List since they're all written as "Ra".

Yeah, and I'm thinking it may be another example of one of those things that we can only take with a grain of salt because it was passed down by word of mouth, century after century, reported thousands of years after the earliest kings; a much larger version of the Brewer family problem you described earlier.
