The short answer is that there is no such contemporary record.
This story did not see the light of day until after Walter Allen had read a summary of Sitchin’s claims in The Pittsburgh Press of 27 March 1983.
The only documentary support for the story is some notes written by Walter Allen himself, supposedly in 1954.
Even here, there is no claim that Humphries Brewer witnessed an act of forgery. The relevant paragraph in full is as follows:
