I gather from your post that you think Stower has some inside knowledge into who took samples or maybe his keen sleuthing could uncover who did. If Stower did know anything, you can bet he won't post it on this board. In any event, unless someone confesses, I don't see how the truth can be had. So we would really just be casting an unwarranted suspicious eye on everyone. And is this any more serious than all the other pilfering and destruction in Egypt, such as burning the Malawi Museum.
Before you send the posse after Erdman, might I point out that he did not hide his recent escapade, and so hiding a similar stunt years ago wouldn't seem to be in character. He did, after all, communicate with you, answering all your questions. If I were him, I might take this thread to mean you were burning the candle at both ends.

I do not see how this is relevant to a discussion of who took samples. But since you opened that door, I have to chime in and say..... the jury is still out. All evidence has not been gathered. Hopefully Erdman's samples will shed some light. Meanwhile, I am convinced the cartouche is a fake. Vyse AND his team, (which really wasn't HIS team) had motive to fabricate it.Quote
..... am convinced that the Cartouche along with all other red ochre graffiti in the Relief Chambers are contemporary with the contruction of the Great Pyramid c. 2500 BC.
I would also like to lodge my complaint against your use of the term "bickering". It is demeaning and negates the points given in argument. This forum would be dull indeed, without the "bickering". Everyone patting each other on the back does not make for stimulating conversation. It does however, make for brown noses and flattery where none is due.
