SC: Which is why the second slide explains that the disc we see uses a standard, 19th century printer's font for the hatched disc.
MS: The second slide is wrong. This material was published in 1841, before there was any standard hieroglyphic font.
SC: Fair point. The hatched disc may not have been standard among different printers at this point but it seems pretty standard with this printer. And my copy of Vyse 'Operations' Vol II is dated 1840.
MS: The rest is a fantasy written around the evidence.
SC: Well, of course, on planet Stower this has to be 'fantasy' because you simply have no other way of explaining it with your own narrative. . . .
MS: On the contrary, Creighton, the problem is that there is no warrant in the evidence for what you are saying. You are writing a fantasy around the evidence. The key contentions are imports.
SC: The evidence disagrees.
