I have not claimed that there is any association between funerary rites and pyramid building, though everywhere but Giza pyramids tend to be tombs, adorned with the "religious twaddle" that you find so unsatisfying.

I reserve judgement with respect to the Great Pyramid, in part due to the lack of inscription to give any indication of its function and due also to the fact that I am willing to consider the adoption theory given the plausible evidence of repair works undertaken to the structure during the 4th dynasty.

However, your comments about Osiris are simply nonsensical and inaccurate.
