MA: Ah, just as I expected. We are on yet another of Scott´s "I can imagine it - so it must be true" journeys. He can not find the evidence (Google let him down?), so he dreams it up.
SC: What I imagine is irrelevant. It is what Brewer/Allen tell us that is the issue. And obtaining further proof to determine the truth the imperative. Why are you afraid of the truth being known?
MA: Vyse destroyed real inscriptions to create fake inscriptions. Your position is noted.
SC: I rather doubt that a known fraudster who has little compunction in employing explosives to blast the pyramid chambers apart would balk at disposing of a fragment of stone or parchment.
Now, I will make this easy for you. We can settle this discussion very easily. All you have to do is present a single piece of evidence that proves, beyond question, that these inscriptions are genuine. Do that and I shall happily depart this discussion and you will never hear another peep from me on this matter again - do it not and you can be sure it will rumble on ad infinitum. Can't say fairer than that. Go on - convince me. That is all you have to do.
