How much do you think the block of granite weighed in the quarry before it was moved around while being carved into a column for transport to St. Petersburg so that it could be precariously perched on top of its high pedestal? Remember, it's being claimed and insinuated by numerous fringe authors that this is not possible and in some cases even with today's technology....... one of the Ancient Alien videos had some expert saying something like how difficult it was to move a 350 ton block today he couldn't imaging how anyone could have done it in the past.
