It is logical to assume that rock chips came from breaking rock. Indeed, it can probably be shown without question they came from people (or something) intentionally breaking rocks.
But this doesn't mean they were used to build ramps to drag stones up the pyramid. Until we know how they lifted the stones we don't know what infrastructure was needed and these chips might be nothingmore than that infrastructure mixed with the natural waste associated with pounding large stones out of the earth and fitting them into a pyramid.
Jumping to conclusions is always counter-productive unless you just happen to jump to the correct conclusion but 150 years of research has proven almost beyond question that they jumped to the wrong conclusion. We need evidence but orthodox thought starts and ends with "they must have used ramps". This has been disproven beyond question since I can show that easier andbetter evidenced means of lifting stones exist. They did not use ramps and they are debunked. They did not use ramps and it is disproven that this was the only possible way.
