Oh, snap. And he's a Cro-Magnon theorist. Have you posted on this topic-I'd be very interested in reading your take on it.
I haven't posted on the topic before, but I gladly will. My thoughts on the subject are basically a refinement of Sitchin's ideas, but placing them within a context of known science. As such, I don't go looking for extraterrestrial answers as my first option, but like him, I still take the myths and biblical accounts seriously. Basically, I think Cro-Magnon would be the most likely candidate for the ancient divinities described by the Sumerians, Egyptians, etc, who were physically and mentally superior to modern humans (both in size/strength and brain capacity). And if the myths were true, then they were apparently were technologically-advanced enough to have been creating aircraft and spacecraft, probably getting to the Moon and Mars, possibly evidenced by the anomalous structures on both, thus being a native, earth-bound 'ancient astronaut theory'. (As opposed to Sitchin's idea of extraterrestrials coming to Earth via the Mars-Moon-Earth route.) In addition to genetically creating domesticated plants and animals, as well as creating many megalithic structures around the world. Accordingly, I think the Cro-Magnons align well with the Sons of God ('Bene Elohim') in Genesis. In turn, I think Neanderthals are the 'primitive humans' ("Lulu") described by the Sumerians whom the divinities mixed their DNA with to make workers/slaves. Biblically, these 'primitive humans' correspond to the Daughters of Men. Backing this up, the Hebrew term is actually 'Bath Adam', the Daughters of Adam. And in apocryphal texts, one of the two daughters of Adam was Luluwa, who may or may not have been Adam's daughter from Lilith, both of these names being derived from the Sumerian "Lulu", indicating a shaggy, primitive human. I also agree, in part, with Lloyd Pye who thinks the Almas (Russia's bigfoot variant) were Neanderthals. Thus, after the divinities/Sons of God/Cro-Magnons domesticated plants and animals, they tried to domesticate Neanderthals by transferring some of their own genes to them (ala Sitchin). The end result of this union being the Nephilim, the fallen ones, "the heroes of old". This genetic tinkering didn't work out. The Nephilim were too wild, too powerful, and too untameable. Essentially, whereas the Cro-Magnons had originally settled down into paradisiacal Edens and evolved along a life of agriculture and horticulture, the Neanderthals continued to evolve as hunters/scavengers, and becoming pretty savage along the way, as recent evidence has shown them to have been cannibals (and speaking of, a few other recent studies have theorized them to be somewhat more civilized, possibly painting cave art and building rafts, but I think these studies are questionable, as they are primarily based on currently accepted timelines of human evolution, not direct evidence that Neanderthals were the ones doing this.) Even further, the Almas/Neanderthals were both hairy and red-colored, apparently adapted to colder, northern climates. Not only that, Lloyd Pye makes a case that red-heads, native to the colder, northern climates of Ireland and Scotland, are from the natural interbreeding of modern humans with Neanderthals, hence, the origin of the hot-tempered redhead stereotype, a stereotype apparently based in genetic fact. Anyway, as soon after the Cro-Magnons began interbreeding with their worker-slave hybrid creations, then it all went to [expletive deleted] in a handbasket. Then the warrior, bloodlust mentality arose among the Cro-Magnons. The civilized, agriculturalist Cro-Magnon bloodline had become infected with the more savage, nomadic, scavenger/cannibalistic Neanderthal bloodline. Similarly, the Floods in the Bible, in Sumerian myth, and Greek myth were all due to the same thing: the corruption of humankind and when evil was everywhere, specifically cannibalism and the invention of the art of warfare by these corrupted peoples. The Cro-Magnons were now having children with their slaves and their children, the children being the Nephilim, the conquering heroes of old, the Gilgameshes (whose father was a lulu), the Hercules, thus starting this whole conquering/warfare/bloodlust mentality that literally caused the Fall of civilization, the second fall in the Bible, which was followed by a Flood. And ultimately, I think the entire modern human race are the *devolved* descendants of the Nephilim, hence why ONLY our species among all other animal species commits such atrocious crimes against ourselves, like war, torture, genocide, Inquisitions, Holocausts, etc. We're literally at war with ourselves because we have two different DNA sources: Cro-Magnon and Neanderthal. (Or as Orphic myth puts it: Olympian and Titan.) And luckily, the Neanderthal DNA is slowly subsiding, currently now at only 4%, on average. That's my thoughts, in a nutshell. There are more mythic collaborations, but I think you get the gist.
Anyway, I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on Cro-Magnons as well, especially since you might have additional info that might add to the above and help flesh it out. Or also help refine them if I have some inconsistencies/errors (as it's a relatively new personal theory for me). Cheers.
