How would you explain this:[tatjana.ingold.ch] a composite stone from the Fifth Dynasty ruin field at Abusir, photographed by the Von Daniken party, on a "family outing", I believe, in 2003, when the location was off-limits to regular tourists. Karen H. Taylor put this set of photos on the GHMB relating to a Gigal thread. It looks to me like the AE's knew how to pour and mold stone(this is granite-greywhacke, sp), truly an example of the magic(or alchemy) of the AE's. Cheers, Rick
p.s. There is also a photo of Uruk IV concrete(artificial stone) being examined by British Museum and military officials at the Stone-Cone Mosaic Tower, at the site in Iraq[www.britishmuseum.org] go to p. 27, fig. 29. That would make it possibly several centuries older than the GP's. I understand that Uruk IV(starting 3100 B.C.) was an Elamite hegemony. The Elamites were, I believe, from the mountainous regions of Iran and wore caps like the master-of-animals on the back of the Gebel-al-Arak knife handle? Do you have any comment, viz. the Petrie theory of Egyptian origins? as in here are two artificial stone-making societies....how likely is it they had no contact with one another......(it could also be argued their creation myths are quite similar as well)? And....I'm a big fan of yours and I've begun to write in another publication, to do my bit to take down quackademia and the present mainstream paradigm of human evolution.
