We do have Caiphus's tomb, and first century accounts of his existence. We may even have found Jesus' family tomb, the Talpiot (?) tomb. We have Peter's home town, etc..

How do you account for the Nag Hammadi texts?

Interestingly enough, Jesus ( Yeshua's ) ideology matches that of the school of Hillel in ancient judaism.


Baptism is clearly related to the extremely common practice of Mikvah and purifying cleansing rituals performed by the Jews at that time, especially before the temple.

I don't believe the originals gospels of the NT were written in Greek but in Hebrew.
