Thanks a lot. I appreciate your interest in my work and your comments, and as for your question on the ancient Egyptians being more mystical than many of us are led to believe, I would have to say 'of course'. My own vbiew is that they were as mystical - if not more-so - than the Hindus, but were more secretive and jealously guarded about this sacred mystical knowledge.
There is now good evidence that the Kundalini enlightenment phenomenon and the internal processes associated with it, was known and understood to a certain extent by many ancient cultures that have always been considered by mainstream historians and scholars as having no connection with ancient India and the Hindu philosophy - especially ancient Egypt. New evidence reveals that there was indeed a cross-cultural relationship between ancient India and ancient Egypt. See here.
As I discovered from the symbolism of both, there are many parallels between the metaphyscial and religious philosophies of both these cultures - each of which are related to the physio-Kundalini-chakra system, as experienced and known to the earliest shamans around the world and before the dawn of prehistory it appears.
This article may explain how the early shamans accessed this knowledge.
This knowledge could have also been handed down by a lost source civilisation or culture - but again, its origins are shamanic.
I've been writing about these connections - ancient Egypt and Kundalini - since the mid 90s. In my view this is the phenomenon which is at the core of their mystical symbolism and the belief in the afterlife - also "becoming as an Akh".
