Hi GHMB,

The discussions on a couple of previous topics such as MJT's Khufu's pyramid and Encoded Knowledge has become a bit cumbersome to respond to, so I thought I'd start a new topic that addresses a few more items that fuel this concept here. I've been looking over some of the data that represents a possible basis for various AE cubit units and finally noted the following. As many of us here already know, the Fundamental ratio between the AE RC and Imperial Foot, is 12/7. What this basic value represents is still something of a mystery also along with other fractional extension values of this unit.

Using a basis involving the previous discussion of the Aroura measurement value mystery, I've noted the following equation that may shed a bit of light on the basis of this simple whole integer ratio relationship. This value as a starting point yields an AE RC unit of 12/7 x 12 = 20.571428 etc. ins. x 100 = 2057.1428 etc. squared = 4231836.735 etc. ins. If this area value is divided by Pi(actual value) the quotient is 1347035.469 etc. which has a square root value of 1160.618572 etc. This appears to represent a diameter value as expressed in the formula involved in the conversion of the Aroura's square area into a circular one, such that the circumference of this diameter value multiplied by Pi(actual) = 3646.190779 etc. This many will recognize as a reasonable value of the Solar Year x 10 of nearly 365 days. But more to the point of being a geodetic unit value of the Earth, multiplied by the sexegesimal system of the ancient Sumerian/Babylonian and possibly other ancient cultures of comparable time frame including the Egyptians etc. This value multiplied by 36000 = 13126286.8 / 5280 = 24,860.39167 etc. Miles. which is none other than the Polar Meridian Circumference value of the Earth as found in this current reference table used to define the median latitude measurement of the Earth, and also the basis for the current Metric system.

As one can plainly see, the median value currently established at the 45* Latitude is 6076.772 Ft. per minute. And if one divides the above Circumference value of the Fundamental ratio equation above by the same Minute of Latitude unit, the value derived is 6076.9984 etc. Ft. which has a ratio difference from the current value expressed as a percentage of 6076.772/6076.9984 = 99.9965% accuracy.

This is somewhat unprecedented in it's implications I think. Not only does it imply that the AE's and other ancient cultures would know the Earth's Polar Meridian Circumference value to this level of precision, but also understood the ratio of Pi to current values also. I hardly think that many mainstream academic standpoints would allow such a conclusion, but for those of us who have been examining these types of issue for many years now, it doesn't seem all that improbable at all does it? :)

Best regards,

Stephen
