You could say the same about any method of building the pyramids. There's no "extensive cultural record" for any other method either so your point is no more relevant to ramps than anything else. But as I pointed out ramps definately were used elsewhere.
Claims have been made using a relief in the tomb of Debhen and an inscription in the mastaba of Qua to support the use of ramps, which I personally don't find very convincing, but they are easily as valid as your extracts from the "Pyramid Texts".
I've still got an open mind about ramps but I've also seen no evidence from you to persuade me that your proposal is anymore feasible or likely.
