Gee I only see 4 negatives in the glyphs, and of those 3 are minor and one an adjective. That image was named "the speaking tubes" .. but might also be a game of some kind ... he has a simi-flail over his shoulder which might be significant .. Egyptian Glyphs are very much more sophisticated than the Mayan symbol-speak .. theirs is either very Mayan, or rather obvious!
Perhaps a better way to put it is Egyptian "humor" is closer to British humor, and Mayan humor is closer to Aussie humor .. IMVHO ..
