I have been away over the Christmas and New Year period, and was offline as I needed a rest from the research and the computer, so I wasn't aware of this thread and these posts.
Apologies the line about the three pillars taken from Luxor - where I also mention the Washingon Monument as being one of these pillars - was a mistake that I have corrected now. I should have said that the design of the WM and its placement in a Capital City was based on the pillars at Luxor, which are now located in the other Capitals Paris and Rome and so again my apologies. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Obviously the Washington Monument is not one of these original Egyptian oblisks.
