Did you read "The Fingerprints of the Gods" written for Graham Hancock? There you can find a lot of information for you to be more poen minded and stop dobting me. You have TO LET PEOPLE HAD THEIR OWN OPINIONS.

~sigh~ Where did I say you couldn't have your own opinion?
Yes.. I have read Fingerprints of the Gods and I own a copy of it still. I disagree with much of it.

If you are saying that you do not believe that egyptians travelled overseas it's allright. It's you're opinion. But you can never say that you are always right and the others are not. This is not a trial. You can not say that people have always to proof things IF EVEN THE STUDIOUS OF THE SUBJECT CAN BE TOTALLY SURE.
I respect you're opinion please stop this trial. This conversation it's supposed to be a good thing not a bad.

What trial? I've been a member here since 1998 (or so) and I'm just discussing this matter. It is not my opinion that the AE ships were not capable of ocean going. It is the opinion of the people who have studied the AE method of ship building and the remains of the AE boats.

To resume Osiris was describled as human, suprehuman. His description exacly matches with Quetzacoaltl, Kukulcan, and Viracocha. They are all civilisatory and very iluminated who travelled the world in boats and taught all kinds of things to people (You really have to read the book because here it's a quick resume).

There was a change from the native method of viewing Quetzacoaltl, Kukulcan, and Viracocha when the Spanish arrived. They wanted to present themselves as the "second coming" of these gods ... Quetzacoaltl esp was hardly a peace loving civilizing god ... he's shown in the native codices and tearing his victims apart, the Spanish recorded a scarifice of thousands upon his pyramid.

There is an excellent paper called "Burying the White Gods" by Camilla Townsend, a Mesoamericanist. You can find a copy of it here:
