My position is very similar to your own. I find it incredulous that academia (for want of a better word) is keen to rubbish new ideas, while clinging to many tenuous 'facts' with little or no evidence, but lots of conjecture.
Only by examining ALL of the available evidence and the potential explanations can we hope to (eventually) come to some understanding of what has happened in the past - and even THAT will not be FACT!
For my part, I find Graham, Robert and other 'unconventional' thinkers work stimulating, interesting and not without some merit. As to their conclusions, I am not yet convinced - yet!
