Angela... loved the piture!... please tell me what site I can go to that will teach me this.... what program... or whatever needed. Email me if you have time.

OK Pandora's Box..... in Laura Croft they were looking or found rather, the 'eye" they called it "mati"... the orb..... This is your first clue that they ... for the movie.... did study a possible connection with Egypt. The eye being the 'all seeing eye'... type thing

The box for Pandora origin... was not a box but a JAR (pithos0!

Now I have read .. and I can't remember where either... that this was the box Isis put Osiris in to put him back togeather again...sounds like Humpty Dumpty doesn't it .... but anyway.... as I said.... It wasn't a box it was a JAR..... many people who study this say this is where the 4 SONS OF HORUS come in.... some say this JAR held secret ritual words to give the rights to Osiris...

Of course this became EVIL.....all of the bad here ..woman opened it...when originally this was good! Pandora was originally a title of the goddess Rhea (the name means all gifts) - but the story of Pandora and her jar (not box) was probably an anti-feminine invention of the poet Hesiod..... Well now, I know Claude isn't surprised by this.

Now.... there is a second myth less known.......

Zeus created Pandora, in good faith, to be a blessing to man. Zeus sent with her a box containing the marriage presents, which were given by every god. Pandora, being curious, opened the box and all the blessings flew out, save one, Hope. Sounds more like the Isis/Osiris story here.

Seems to me the second myth seems more logical. How could Hope be stored in the same container as all manner of evil and illness?... doesn't make sense to me...

It is a bit hard to find good info on this from the net.... or at least I think so ... but here is a site..
