I tried that. I have files full of NASA's view, I think. Their views seem to be that they hope it will go away (I quote: "I hope we've scotched this thing for good"), that they should either ridicule the idea or insist that anyone who writes them about it is hallucinating (I quote closely: "I see faces in clouds. My dog thinks there is someone in the closet"), or belittle it altogether and lump it into the paranormal (I quote Dr. Malin here closely: "I think it's stupid. Does the government pay to research ghosts?").
The Cydonia Face is recognizable in stock processed Viking data, that was how it was recognized. The idea that the later enhancements are "doctored" is a two-way street. I impore you in return to seek out the webpage of NASA subcontractor Lan Fleming regarding the fraudulent (his word) processing of the MGS image presented to the public.
