I am fairly excited by this article on the News Desk : [www.grahamhancock.com]. While it comes as no news to many of us, it does underscore my idea that GH's popularity, far from being "fringe", was/is a popular expression of the recognition of reality based on unbiased observation by people who, sadly, were/are not in possession of requisite PhD's. Some of us, as kids, saw Ponhpei, Mohenjo-Daro, Tiahuanaco, the GP, and thought, "wow, that's really old". Some of us, as teens, snickered inwardly when told how "old" such things were supposed to be according to "orthodoxy". And some of us still can't stop guffawing at the 'young Earth' crowd, or religious/Biblical whack-jobs.

GH is not out just for sensationalism; neither is he out just to make money. He is talking about and popularizing something that many of us have had to keep bottled up for too long. I wonder, what does the local strike-out club and nay-sayers now wish to say that "orthodox" scientists have officially pushed back the bar?

Hmmm?

Chris
