The quote is from Griffith in 1893. He certainly did not erroneously mix up Petrie's findings with Berriman's because Berriman was not born yet. So I am not sure how that part still holds. I did not mix up Petrie's findings with Berriman either. I agree with Petrie and Griffith on this, and that is what my article says. What is significant to me is the word 'misleading'.
