Yes indeed. The same thing happened with the Plague in Europe. The A group survived the most whereas the O group suffered badly, and greatly cut the numbers down. With Haplogroup studies they have to be undertaken in their own right, not trying to fit around what other fields of study have decided the history, and locations, of Mankind is.
