Of course there are many scholars residing East of Gobekli who would argue that both Sumerian and Hebrew were preceded by Ugartic or some runic script from other side of Caspian. MDaines earlier mentioned the TUR MU conjunction, with Tur being the softer western version of Ugartic larynical Kur; delivering the same vowel, but with an initial 'AKH' .
When exactly Sumer came down from the mouths (sources in their terminology) of the rivers to the fertile deltas; and when the nomadic migrations, east and west began post-ice age, are both of uncertain date.
A case can also be made for a common source of both migrations; and for a complex syllabic language which engendered pictographic symbols, logograms and finally alphabetic characters. That locus may have been the E-D-I-N in the ubiquitous "golden ages", which came down to us as Eden and which of course is now long gone and lost in the mists of meaning.
