I reckon they would be fabulous on wallpaper. All the amazing wall paintings around. Just a small part on a wall like a chimney breast. much as I don't like a theme wall, here and there in the house, and the lady you superimposed on the Canberra building. I can't see the artists coming back to sue, unless it's a horror film.
On the first printers you could scan a painting, magnify and break down into overlapping sections. I saw a whole wall of the Mona Lisa in a magazine and it was quite incredible.
Seeing the net dress was so small, there are plenty of female mummies showing how tiny they were in the British Museum, so I don't know why the 'expert' says a 12 year old. One of those is a dancer.
