yes, those were land, air and sea "gods", operating in a very rigid system. Closest to our understaning, is the India caste system but I think more of a master/slave system.

so it make sense to have depicted where that power (control) is coming from, so that cone like pinal object should probably represent just that. so I like this pineal gland theory.
