> You Haven't read the THREAD.
You haven't even read the TITLE of the THREAD, which if you had would tell you exactly what it is about.
It doesn't take a great leap of logic to make the connection between getting involved here and having actually read the book.
Oh Warwick, why does it always go wrong for you and your posts?
You remind me of this clown "ONLY ME" on the Jason Cocacola blog (Jason reviews the HOAX) who writes:
"Is this guy for real? Rejecting actual history in favor of "Muh fringe."
Long on speculation, short on fact. It saddens me people will read this trash and think they've learned something."
This is not his reaction to the book. He hasn't read the book. He is taking Cocacola's opinion as fact and reacting to book only through the prism of the reviewers prejudices. And it "saddens" him that people will read this trash. But he hasn't read it himself. He's been spoonfed one little bloggers opinion and he adopts that opinion as fact - he calls the book "short on fact" but hasn't checked any fact himself before making this pronouncement.
This is what we are dealing with here - and it is these low standards of the orthodox brigade that has made you and others like you lazy and dismissive, using mere groupthink and mob mentality to try to suppress alternative ideas without actually challenging them.
From that little blog, to Atlantis Rising, to the vindictiveness and pettiness of the HoM, to the endless bile spewed here on GHMB - the amazing thing is that these alternative sites and populated daily not mainly by "alternative" thinkers and theorists, but overwhelmingly by reactionary, angry amateur orthodox supporters who simply aren't good enough to be real academics or historians or archaeologists out in the field or authors in their own right.
Why are you all here all the time if you think it is all nonsense and rubbish?
I find it appalling that a sizeable number of people out there think the moon landings were faked, and chat about this all day on the Internet - but it doesn't bother me enough to set myself as their daily debunker. Why would I waste my time if I REALLY thought it was all garbage and not worth my time?
So where does the HoM mentality come from? Why do little men like set themselves up with a blog and gather a little band of fawning unthinking supporters? Why are they angry all the time? Why do they want to argue, but cannot handle even the basics of an argument and constantly need to gang up or others or call in the biased Mods?
Is this REALLY to do with finding the truths of ancient civilisations or were you all just bullied at school? What is it about the pushing at the boundaries of human knowledge that so offends you all?
I wonder sometimes. "Does Magna Carta mean nothing to you? Did she die in vain?".
