I wasn't responding to the G2 Apex to Sphinx measure but rather showing the Great Giza Circle. This is Gary's measurement you are discussing and I think Gary said something about measuring from G2 apex to the "Heart of the Sphinx" as opposed to its rump.
These are the co-ordinates Gary presents:
GO: The Sphinx-G2 line from the heart of the Sphinx (29°58'31.0764", 031°08'16.0260") to the center of G2 (29°58′34″N, 31°07′51″E . . . heading 277.68 degrees), is a ground length distance of 678.6 meters, which converts via the royal cubit length of 0.5236 meters to 1,296 royal cubits . . . 12,960 / 10. - from here.
