Im always up for a bit of Google Earth measuring.
So yea, as you say the angle from G1 to that Obelisk is 45 degrees.
The distance is interesting from my perspective as one might see an imperial connection as Google Earth says its some 14.66 miles and given the + or - of some feet you might think it could have been 14.66666666667 miles as 44 / 3 = 14.666666666666.
So who knows, not sure about the time differentials between the 4th dynasty and the 12 th, assuming the Ortho's have got the Dynasties all correct lol.
As for the Astronomical Unit of 92.955.629 miles and that distance between G1 and that Obelisk , well you could play around with that measure and increase it 14.671 x 6336 to = 92955456 , in the diagram below shows where that distance would come to inside G1 , Sirius ? , again why not.
