Hi Jim and Jiri ( that should be a stage act, surely)
Well done for taking that on Jiri, you've spotted something I hadn't. I did have a look at Bert Janson's construction, which is why I added the link. I didn't work with it because I try to restrict my geometry to compass and straight edge rules. It leaves a path that can be followed, well, theoretically anyway. I go from one step to the next, and that's about as far as I can see uptrail of it. Bert's drawing didn't have a trail to follow for me, but I put it on here for interest. The squared circle, to me, is not something I have done much work on. I have my doubts whether the popular equal perimeter and area problems are what is really meant by "squaring the circle", but that's just me.

Something else has caught my eye with Emblem 21. As best as I can tell the infilled square here, and it's top edge specifically, spans between the 32nd and 33rd courses of brickwork( hard to tell if I've counted right here). The height of the triangle is also the same 33 courses high( not exactly, but very very closely) There is a total of 45 courses of brickwork, matching the apex angle of the triangle.
The thickness of the courses does vary a fair bit. That could be carelessness in the drawing, or an attempt to get the joins to match set distances?
There's another building I know of that has oddly configured level thicknesses too. Hmmm.
