The Menkaure pyramid height is one issue. Petrie computed the height of G3 to be 2,564" ± 15". This is based on a number of factors like "By 7 measures on finished granite, in situ,By 1st and 4th courses, in situ. at S.S.W., By 6 single blocks of granite, shifted, By 9 pieces of limestone casing (brought to England).
But he also computed it to be 2,580.8" ± 2.0" by the granite courses.
211 photo feet are equal to 2,565.3"
212 photo feet are equal to 2,577.4"
It is thus possible that G3 was planned to be 212 photon feet high.
We might be able to make sense of the plan if we look at the half base lengths and heights of the other pyramid. We can add up the height of G1, G2 , and G3 in photon feet(pf):
x = 475 pf + 465 pf + 212 pf = 1,152 pf
PYRAMIS(pyramid) + NAOS(temple) = (80+400+100+1+40+10+200)+(50+1+70+200) = 1,152
AITOLIA(Aetolia) = 1+10+300+800+30+10+1 = 1,152
Aetolia is the geographical area of Greece where the G3 equivalent mountain resides(mount Kokkinia).
Also, 1,152 reminds us of the half base of G1 as 115.182 meters.
The half base of G1 is 115.182 meters
373 photon feet equal 115.184 meters or 4,534.8"
The half base of G2 is 107.631 m
348 1/2 photon feet are equal to 107.618 or 4,236.9"
This brings us to the base length of G3.
According to Lehner(M&R data) the half width of G3 is 51.1 meters and the half length is 52.3 meters
165 1/2 photo feet equal 51.107 m or 2,012.1"
On the other hand, 169 1/2 photon feet equal 52.34 m or 2,060.7"
The minimum thus sum of the half base lengths of G1, G2, and G3 is:
t = 373 pf + 348 1/2 pf + 165 1/2 pf = 887 photon feet = 10,783.8"
The maximum sum of the half base lengths of G1, G2, and G3 is:
z = 373 pf + 348 1/2 pf + 169 1/2 pf = 891 photon feet = 10,832.4"
The mean sum of the half base lengths of G1, G2, and G3 is:
z = 373 pf + 348 1/2 pf + 167 1/2 pf = 889 photon feet = 10,808.1"
We can derive three different "total" Giza pyramid slopes:
maxphi = tan^-1(1,152/887) = 52.405° => 90° - 37.595°
meanphi = tan^-1(1,152/889) = 52.343° => 90° - 37.657°
minphi = tan^-1(1,152/891) = 52.280° => 90° - 37.720°
If we use the complementary angles and equate them to latitude North we get close to places in Greece. See below:
