And near the G2 and G3 temples were found over 120 statues and unique statue fragments all removed from their respective temples and unceremoniously dumped and buried like trash. Who did this and when? What are we to make of such irreverence?

As discussed, there is no similar temple at G1. But, Khufu could only proclaim his innocence on desecrating the G2 and G3 temples if he preceded them. But if the temples preceded the pyramids - of which a case can be made - he could certainly be a suspect.
