I think taken as a whole Giza shows many signs of Plan changes , either in the placement of the pyramids or their size,i posted on this in 2015 here [grahamhancock.com].
So thanks to Manu's onsite visit to Giza and for taking those pics of many aspects of Giza's ancient buildings has spure'd some of us here to look deeper into the workings of those ancients , and its Manu's pic of one particular area that i term "The Platform" that has got me thinking again about the real reason for the so called "Trial Passage", to which i dont believe it was a trial, as ive said before in a 2015 post , its indicative of a change of plan.
This then brings us to finding a reason for why this Platform structure is where it is,and why it may never have been fully built, Manu's feels the two structures (the platform and the trial passage) are linked, and i would agree with that, it maybe they were ok with G1 ending up quite close to the cliff edge but forgot to take into consideration where the Queens pyramids would go, but if that was a reason then you would think they could have been put on any of the other three sides of G1.
It would imply that the three Queens pyramid had to go on the East side , due to that's what the plan required .
So who knows what actually went on, but i think there were many plan changes at Giza with respect to the pyramids placings, and the size of G2 and G3.
What if G1 was built using the position of the so called Trial Passage.
