Please note: This post was the offering of a tangent hypothesis which may or may not have correlated with the geologic find which Promethius has offered.
It was not my intention to be abstruse, and I apologize for going off topic (yet again, my cronic bad, sorry).

Whether or not the peoples of the Sanxingdui Culture would be involved in any way with giant ancient earthworks is not determined. I offered in too light a frame of mind. Sorry.

Check this out, as well as the museum attached to the dig.

I wonder if you are up on Electric Universe?

The Ancient World was not much like ours, except that there were sheeple, . . .

If you go looking temporally, before Adam's Calendar, this "might" be something to consider in thesis generation.

It makes no sense, until you see the "possible" link.

Then think of Graham's Apkalu . . . 7 sages . . .
Do those fellows from Sangxingdui look anything like the Moai?

One more appearance in South America . . . The Raimondi Stella of Chauvin de Huantar.
Here you see them in action in the sacred underground caves, the carrier (see Raimondi Stella) has extra fingers, and fangs, and his column is neither round nor square, but diamond shaped . . .

[theculturetrip.com]

Are they the Apkallu, bringing knowledge? . . .are they the magicians? ... the very wise, would they have been from another planet or moon in our system, or farther?

What need to rake the ground across a continent? . . If that is what that represents
. . .
What use might the continent have for non-sheeple?

Have a look at the Mistborn books of Brandon Sanderson . . . He is a "world builder" author.

The Emperor's Soul is currently in the collection, (Arcanum Unbound) and is worth over 50% of the collection's worth, imvho. This refects the ancient Oriental beliefs of early cultures, and the belief in magic never dies . . . So the interest in understanding the Pyramid Texts seems to become more important.

Never the less, that is spirit, and you are clearly thinking tech . . . Still, the perspective is the reason for the greater work.

This is that wild path seldom seen, and less often taken . . . Not so logical for the modern mindset.

Edited to correct verb tense.

Breath is the courser and
Mind is the rider.
