I'm all for simplification when possible. I just don't think I will ever finish reading this long running Pi saga though. Whew, see what happens when you leave the board for so long. LOL! Yeah, life was a lot more imaginative years ago I agree, but still a lot more fun. That's why I got tired of examining those rock piles endlessly and started examining more mundane every day life circumstances of early civilizations instead of special engineering projects. Calculating weights and volumes of every day commodities gives a much broader perspective of what was known long ago than examining worn down monuments. But once I did that I came to the conclusion if the Antient Egyptian's weren't aware of the simple ratio relationship between a circle's circumference to it's diameter, they had to be the only culture who didn't. That's not likely whether they left behind any textual evidence to the contrary discovered so far. Think I will go back to examining a few more of those curiously misshapen Vesica Pisces species now. LOL!
