but: 22/7 / [(22/7)-3.1416] = 2500

hmm, 2500, eh?
i like that =o)
this is a fact of nature
now we may have some clue
as to why 22 and 7 are so favored
next up to figure out is 4 and 11
going first for the most obvious:
7 + 4 = 11 and 11 • 2 = 22
so, to get from 7 to 22
you have to add 4 first
and then multiply by 2
might be interesting to note
what else that path connects
f(x) = 2 (x+4) = 2x + 8
(there are 8 planets in the solar system
n all easily paired off into groups of 2)
f(1) = 10
f(2) = 12
f(3) = 14
f(5) = 18
f(7) = 22
f(11) = 30

also/or... 8 is 2 to the 3rd power
so... doing that to anything now
g(x) = y (x+y2) = xy + y3
< f(x) = g(x) when y = 2 >
this will require a table
or a 2 dimensional matrix
which may turn out to be a group
which would justify all optimism...
but i'll hafta get back to ya on that...
if the monuments have no application for that
maybe they're not meant to function as a textbook
unless i'm off on an obligatory arbitrary wild tangent
- which reminds me:
every buddy break down the prime factorization
sometimes, to understand significant numbers
it sometimes helps to break them down
into their various prime factors:
so 2500 = 50 • 50 = 50 squared
and 50 = 2 • 25 = 2 • 5 squared
so 2500 = (5 • 5 • 2) squared
= (5 • 5 • 2) (5 • 5 • 2)
= (5 • 5 • 5 • 5 • 2 • 2)
= 5^4 • 2^2
= 5^(2^2) • 2^2
i'm sure wherever else 2500 turns up
will offer further clues of relevance...

=o)

it seems (potentially)
more or less as significant
as root 2 or root 3 or root 5
or fundamental, you might say...
because of where those numbers come from
root 2 being the diagonal of a square,
root 5 the diagonal of a double square,
but root 3 is both in the vesica Pisces
and the double equilateral triangle
because they both insist on involving 60 degrees

The sine of 60°, or pi over 3 radians, is root 3 over 2
which means that if you drew a straight line between two points
one at 60° North Latitude, the other at 60 degrees South Latitude
(this is assuming, of course, they both share the same Longitude)
and directly through the Earth, not involving the surface at all
the shortest distance between those two points is
the square root of 3 times the radius of the Earth

Now, if you were to draw a line between two points
at 30° aka pi / 6 radians, respectively,
the sine of 30 degrees or pi/6 radians is 1/2
(yes, 1/3 arc corresponds to 1/2 height, /awe)
so that imaginary tunnel would be
exactly as long as the radius of the Earth
though both Subway Lines would require
extensive insulation against the molten mantle
=o)

..... pi / 20 = 0.157 079 632 679 489 661 923 132 169 163 98...
pi / 20 / 9 = 0.017 453 292 519 943 295 769 236 907 684 89...

9 pi = 28.274 333 882 308 139 146 163 790 449 516...
(jus sayin)

(9 pi) / 20 = pi / (20/9)
pi / (20/9) = 1.413 716 694 115 406 957 308 189 522 475 8...
..... root 2 = 1.414 213 562 373 095 048 801 688 724 209 7...
dif'rence = 0.000 496 868 257 688 091 493 499 201 733 921 78...
so almost half a thousandth, or less than 1 in 2000

it's fairly common / not very surprising
that a planet would have a low integer ratio
between its day and it's year
they tend to find an equilibrium eventually
if left relatively undisturbed for long enough
Mercury is 2:3, despite having highest eccentricity
our moon is 1:1, tidal lock, as is pluto and charon
the path of Venus in our sky the draws a pentagram
a pentagram's points are 72° apart, as 72 times 5 equals 360
(GH reminded us recently via television that 72 • 600 = 43,200
which just happens to be the number of seconds in 12 hours)
coincidentally, Earth's cycle of precession
means our access slowly rotates
about 1 degree every 72 years
thus altering our view of the Stars by that much
completing a full cycle every 26000 years, as we know
and there's, of course, references to precession throughout
=o)
