If you look at the entrance glyph of Khufu's pyramid and its construction, you define they knew how to turn a circle into a square...8/9 has nothing to do with it...that's a child's solution to get them prepared to the good stuff.
Tell me...after you learnt the definition of 'tool' as a basic description for something used upon any number of applications that require a 'tool', how many more definitions did you learn?
I can use 'tool' in several ways that do not mean something I use as an application towards a mechanical motion that adjusts the status quo of a stable thing. For instance: you tool! is a put-down. Tool around, means being sexually active. I tooled that! means you broke it open.
I wonder how many have tooled the entrance glyph...
if necessity is the mother of invention, why is there a monster under my bed?
